Black graduate students are often the only Black creatives in their MFA/PhD programs or have limited opportunities to train in a culturally-specific studio environment. The SoulWork @ HBCU Intensive is designed for graduate students to engage the principles of SoulWork and explore the artistic geneologies of Black performance traditions through an on-site studio intensive at a Historically Black College or University.
